I'm a former college athlete, a wife of a former professional athlete, and a sports mom raising kids who compete at a high level. I don't just photograph sports. I live them. The early morning practices, the long drives to away games, the sideline nerves, the absolute joy of watching your kid execute exactly what they've been working toward.
That's the world I come from. And it's exactly why I show up differently than a photographer who just happens to own a fast lens.
From hometown rivalry games buzzing with big emotions to little league first hits to high school showcases with everything on the line, every level of competition has moments that matter.
Not just the highlight reel plays. The reactions. The celebrations. The quiet focus before the whistle. The teammate who ran over just to say good game.
Those are the photos parents pull out ten years from now and can't believe they almost missed. That's what I show up to capture.
